Perks is a locally owned specialty coffee shop similar to Starbucks or Tim Hortons. Unfortunately they are they ONLY coffee shop in all of Van Wert, otherwise I believe they would have to close their doors due to lack of business. The reason being, the owner, Laura Hershman, (who's always working) has a serious attitude problem. She is rude, sarcastic, and very inappropriate in the way she treats with customers.
