Last fall I purchased 6 tons of golden fire wood pellets and they had a very obnoxious chemical smell. I am wondering what they put in the pellets to cause this smell. The smell made us ill. This was a costly learning experience not only to our pocket book but our health as well. We used golden fire in the past and never had the problem until last fall and we checked them out today and they still have that terrible chemical smell. Whenever anybody entered our house they would ask what is that terrible smell. Just a bag of these pellets sitting in our house emits such a terr
