Every day 5,760 more children become orphans… The statistics are startling: it’s estimated that there are 143 million orphans worldwide. Even though many children are adopted, many more grow up as orphans and age out of the system by age sixteen - with no family to belong to and no place to call home. In a perfect world, there would be no orphans and no need for adoptions.
