I was transferred to San Francisco with my company for a 3-year assignment and made the mistake of renting a house in Marin that was managed by nasty ladies at L&L. What a horrible experience! I found out early that overpaid for the dumpy house in Mill Valley and also had to provide an $8000 deposit (which is not the norm in Marin.) Whenever there was a repair that needed to be done, L&L first dragged their feet on getting a handy man to make a visit, and then tried to blame/charge us for any repairs (i.e., "maybe your junior high aged kids are flus
