Under newer management ...I've stayed at the 1740 House numerous times over the past 15 years, at all times of the year. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The breakfasts are better now than in the past. If there in the winter you can sit in the main house living room and enjoy the wood fire. Some of the rooms have gas fireplaces which are nice as well. The view of the Delaware River passing by is quite relaxing. Bucks County is very exciting with tons to do, and the 1740 House is a great place to make home while you are visiting.
