- ROCK 101 - In Rock 101 students at the School of Rock Princeton will master the basics while playing actual rock music before jumping into live shows. Kids get a private one on one lesson and experience playing with other kids in a band setting. Our Rock 101 music program includes: Learning the basics of technique and music theory Understanding the dynamic of playing in a group A weekly 45 minute private music lesson - guitar bass guitar keyboard drums and / or vocals A weekly 1-1/2 hour group rehearsal PERFORMANCE PROGRAM - In the Performance Program School of Rock St Paul students learn harmonies musicianship and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment. Our shows each center on a theme and the students spend time delving into the catalogs of certain artists styles and periods of rock music. Past shows have featured very well received student perfomances in: Pink Floyd's The Wall Led Zeppelin Van Halen (David Lee Roth era - of course) AC/DC best of the 80s Punk Rock Devo Frank Zappa Queen and many many more fun and exciting programs. All student musicians enrolled in our Performance Program will receive: Weekly private music lessons Three-hour band rehearsals to prepare for the rock concert Enhanced learning in key areas such as stage performance harmonies musicianship and more Choices of new show themes every season ADDITIONAL LESSONS - All School of Rock students who are registered in our Rock 101 & Performance programs are able to add additional Vocal Guitar Drum Bass & Key lessons to enhance their skils. LESSONS ONLY - Any student interested in taking lessons only can do so but is encouraged to transition into Rock 101 or Performance to challenge enhance and complete their School of Rock experience. ADULT PROGRAM - School of Rock is now enrolling for our Adult Performance Program where adult students get individual lessons on guitar bass drums keys and vocals along with weekly band rehearsals. Whether you are an experienced musician looking to get back on stage or just learning for the first time it's time to grab your guitar warm up those vocals and prepare to rock. With School of Rock's Adult Program you will learn from our amazing staff of professional musicians meet cool people and take the stage at a great rock venue in your community. The Stage is now Yours.
