Our family dog was severely and brutally attacked by neighbor dogs in the summer of 2009. Because of the extent of his injuries and subsequent infection, his prognosis was doubtful. Dr. Martin and his staff cautiously and carefully attended to his needs as he remained at HPAH for many weeks. We were always welcomed to call about his condition or come to visit with him. They did an admirable job managing his nutrition needs, medications and surgeries. I was amazed at how well they managed his pain meds and eventually helped us learn how to care for him ourselves at
