Northeast Electrical Service was sent to by townhouse by Sears to install a gas dryer that I had recently purchased. I would have installed it myself, but I was told that a plumber needs to take out a permit with the Town to perform the install. (side note - you are paying for the permit so make sure they have the permit in hand before they install) In order to get the dryer into the laundry room, I was told that the 'trim on door jam had to be removed to install dryer'.
