Hertz's customer service had been giving me the runaround while I was trying to resolve an issue regarding an unauthorized credit inquiry so I decided to try calling the branch from where I rented the vehicle in question. I'm a local and I figured someone there would be more willing to help than the faceless voices I was speaking to via the main Hertz hotline. The manager at the Cutchogue Hertz, Janelle, couldn't have been more indifferent and condescending.
