My licensed, highly experienced and subsequently "white" husband was fired from Angell Plumbing after working there for 2.5 yrs. Though he was given a raise of 4.00 over the past 2 years, he was still making "substantially" less than the average for this position in Austin, TX and was told he would get more after he got his lic. After he got his lic. with a great deal of HIS time, money and effort, they continually put him off about a pay raise and then suddenly fired him. To add insult to injury, they are fighting his measly 300.00 per week unemployment
