My husband has been transported to the hospital via ambulance six times since Feb. 1, 2008. The 6th time was AFTER Hurricane Ike, before the beginning of the year 2009. My husband is fully insured with Medicare & a supplemental insurance. We have never received a bill for ambulance services because it was always covered completely. We didn't know we were dealing with a different ambulance service when my husband was transported to Clear Lake Hospital; as opposed to being transported to UTMB in the past, prior to Hurricane Ike. We did not receive a bill from Galveston Ar
