The General Lewis Inn and Restaurant welcomes its guests with warm hospitality and personal service. Our historic country inn is situated on an 1862 civil war battle site in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Andrew Lewis, a general in the Continental Army who was born in Ireland, gave our inn and the town their names and “discovered” Lewis Springs on the site of present-day town of Lewisburg. This West Virginia getaway offers 25 different cozy bedrooms with authentic period pieces from early American history. Enjoy affordable rates and a comfortable sleep in one of our 100-year old beds. The General Lewis Inn Restaurant features one of the finest menus in the Lewisburg area.
