Spinal Diagnostics started in 1995 by Dr. Roy Slack. He has done interventional pain management of the spine for over 12 years. Known for his expertise with injection procedures together with his compassion for patients suffering with spine pain, Dr. Slack has been a leader and a pioneer in the field of spinal injections in the Portland area. Dr. Barbara Mallett had been practicing pain management at Southwest Washington Medical Center's pain clinic for 12+ years when she joined Spinal Diagnostics. Dr. Mallett's other areas of specialty interests include pain and the elderly as well as palliative care. She has maintained an outstanding reputation in our community with her expertise in spinal pain diagnosis and management as well as injection procedures. Both physicians at Spinal Diagnostics are committed to delivering quality patient care in a pleasant environment. Injection procedures are done at the Cascade Spine Center in Tualatin, a state licensed and Medicare certified ambulatory surgery center that provides the highest quality of patient care with the utmost attention to patient safety and satisfaction. In most cases we are able to schedule patients for a consultation or directly for a procedure if the pain is severe within a few days.
