Dr. John Baker opened Warrick Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 1984. The building was finished by the fall of that year. Initially the clinic provided care for all species of animals; however, with continued growth and time limitations, some reductions were necessary. Equine services were discontinued in 1991. In the last twenty years companion animal care has grown at a rapid pace and today comprises greater than sixty percent of the practice. The clinic has been committed to bringing new technologies to the community. For example, we were the first clinic in the Tri-state to provide laser surgery which reduces pain, bleeding and enhances healing. We also remodeled the clinic so our feline clients have their own waiting room to minimize the stress of a veterinary visit. Warrick Veterinary Clinic provides diagnostics including radiology, lab chemistries, blood analysis, and numerous disease diagnostic tests. Dental, surgical and medical services are continually upgraded to provide better care to our clients and their pets. Dr. Bryan Helms joined the practice in 1991. He is an excellent veterinary surgeon and especially excels in joint surgeries. Dr. Baker and Dr. Helms likewise provide care to pigs, beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats and occasionally other species of animals. Both enjoy the variety of mixed animal practice and work hard through continuing education to provide the best care possible to all of our clients. Our clinic is blessed with a staff of animal lovers who pride themselves in providing superior care. They can relate to your concerns and understand the unique bond between animals and their owners. We value our staff and our community and would be pleased to serve your veterinary needs.
