We moved into the hospital's present location in March 1998. This facility was specifically designed to address the unique needs of our veterinary practice. Close client communication and an attitude of teamwork are the foundations of our philosophy. Our staff believes in the delivery of up-to-date services to our patients in a timely, compassionate and humane manner. As you enter, you'll be greeted by our friendly reception staff. They will be happy to check you in, make appointments, and handle any billing questions that you may have While you wait, you can read-up on some of the latest technology in the veterinary field as you relax in our comfortable waiting room. You can also feel free to shop in our new retail section. Buy food, toys and treats before or after your appointment. Our in-house pharmacy allows many prescriptions to be filled while you wait! When it is time for your friend's exam, one of our friendly staff will escort you into one of our six exam rooms. All of our rooms are private and fully equipped, so that a full and confidential examination can be performed. With our new IDEXX system, most of the tests we need can be performed in our own lab! That way, we can provide you with the results as soon as we know them, and a critical diagnosis can be made rapidly. For the more complicated and/or time consuming procedures, our hospital is equipped with a large treatment area. This area is also where we house our dental X-ray machine. Our digitalized X-ray machine allows us to make an even more accurate diagnosis, without the need for a referral. Our state-of-the-art surgical area was specially designed to provide our doctors with an environment tailored to a surgeon's needs, including the promotion of a sterile environment, reducing the risk of infection to your pet. For special attention in extreme cases, we've included an Intensive Care Unit, so that we can constantly monitor the recovery of severe conditions. If our patients need to spend extended time with us, they can rest and recover in our in-patient housing facility. Here, special diets and extra attention can be given to them. We also have indoor runs so that your pet can get comfortable exercise, regardless of the season.
