MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING & TRAINING Michel LaRiviere is offering a broad, cost effective spectrum of saw mill maintenance services that target improved recovery, increased production, and quality control in compliance to relevant industrial standards. Background British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver, BC (Saw Filer Certificate; Circular Saw Filer Certificate; Benchman Certificate) Starting in 1978, Michel worked for Canadian Forest Products (Northwood) in Prince George, BC and later became Head Filer with a crew of 12 filers. Since 1998,Michel has provided services to mills throughout the southeastern US; during the past year he managed the filing room and assisted in various mill operations at a new saw mill in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. With over 35+ years of experience, his knowledge includes emergency services (troubleshooting), general sawmill operations, levelers, band saw, round saw, wheel grinding, mill alignments (traditional and laser), designing a band saw guide-grinding machine and a lube system for QUAD, welding and millwrighting. Michel is also skilled in thin kerf technology, Si-CAM, and workplace safety.
