Our mission at the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Service Center, Inc. is to empower the deaf and hard of hearing individuals, help them live independently and achieve equality. We are a private, non-profit social service agency that serves individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf blind, and late-deafened, their families, friends, and community service providers. Our non profit agency carries out its mission through advocacy, interpreting services, independent living assistance, peer counseling and health education, community education and outreach, and job counseling, training, and placement. Our non profit agency serves Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera, Merced, Monterey, Mariposa, and San Benito Counties.
