Dr. Huy Quang Hoang, MD, is a Vietnam native who has went to the University of Maryland. He moved to southern California to study internal medicine and then acupuncture at UCLA. He has worked at prestigious hospitals such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and he is now medical director of Natural Health Medical Center in Lawndale, CA. Dr. Hoang practices conventional Western as well as natural medicine, since he believes that each has its own benefits. Jaime S. Schwartz MD is Board Certified in plastic surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Schwartz attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. While pursuing his medical degree, he furthered his expertise in breast cancer care by studying tumor biology and the molecular basis of cancer at the Lombardi Cancer Center, designated by the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Schwartz was accepted into the prestigious integrated plastic surgery training program at Georgetown University Hospital after scoring in the top 3% in the United States on the medical licensing examination. The Department of Plastic Surgery is internationally recognized for expertise in breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Schwartz went on to accept a fellowship in facial and body aesthetic surgery at the nationally ranked Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Schwartz's work has appeared in several journals and educational textbooks, including the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Surgery of the Breast: Principles and Art, and Smith and Nesi's Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Recognized for his expertise in breast reconstruction surgery, Dr. Schwartz was one of 10 plastic surgeons in the country invited to develop national guidelines for techniques using tissue expanders and implants and autologous tissue for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Ahn was born and raised in New York City. He attended Brown University for college and medical school, and returned to New York for an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases/ NYU combined program. He graduated in 2003, and did an additional year of fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Tufts / New England Baptist Hospital combined program. He worked at Cedars Sinai Hospital where he was involved in teaching USC plastic surgery residents hand surgery before moving down to the South Bay. He currently continues to teach, and serves as the Chief of the Hand Surgery Service in the Department of Orthopedics at Harbor UCLA. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery. In his spare time he loves to surf, snowboard, and play tennis.
