Mar-Bel Stables has been providing Bergen and Rockland counties with fun, safe and educational horseback riding experiences for children and adults for almost 50 years. Mar-Bel’s services include boarding which provides stall cleaning, watering, customized feed program, daily turnout, and blanketing as needed. We also have a riding lesson program, private or group, for children and adults, appropriate for beginners, intermediate, or advanced riders. Our in-house horse leasing program offers full and half leases on safe, reliable and talented mounts. Currently available is a top children’s medium pony hunter, who was a multiple ribbon winner at Zone II finals, October 2008, as well as several other pleasure horses and extremely quiet ponies. Our summer camp program offers semi-private daily riding lessons as well as afternoon pleasure rides, arts and crafts and special programs. Our summer riding/horsemanship camp offers a unique approach to English horseback riding and horsemanship developing students who become horsemen and women, not just riders. Mar-Bel boarders and students also enjoy attending and competing in horse shows throughout the tri-state area. Our students have the opportunity to show at various levels whether on their own mount or if they want to rent one of our horses for the day. All showing opportunities include trailering and training for the show session. Our facility is available for birthday parties, Girl Scout events or group programs. Mar-Bel Stables offers a multi-faceted riding experience catering to the equestrian soul in every horse lover.
