Our Old World family recipe for Feil's famous homemade bread started in a bakery located in Wangen, Germany. This bakery, founded by grandfather Johannes Feil, is still operated today by the Feil family. Johannes' son, Karl Feil, opened his own bakery in Randolph, WI in 1931, following the original family recipe until the bakery closed in 1964. Herb Feil, son of Karl & grandson of Johannes, continues this famous family recipe tradition in preparing the bread in the same painstaking manner in which it was baked way back then. In over 40 years of being in business & making our own bread, to date we've made over 1,000,000 little loaves of bread for your eating enjoyment.
