Archer Construction, Inc. began in April 1976, where it was originally formed to execute excavation and concrete work. After a short time, we partnered with Boise Cascade Homes where we handled many phases of home building - selling, foundations and excavation. We were involved in this work until Boise Cascade Homes sold their Housing Division in approximately 1983. From there, we entered into the Underground Storage Tank Program. We were one of the first contractors to qualify and train our personnel to remove, and in some cases install, underground storage tanks. At this time we also started a tank decommissioning facility, ?Lust in the Dust?, to be able to offer a ?cradle to grave? service for our customers. We have removed fueling systems for many major companies, Utah Power, Pacific Power, US West, and many major corporations. We also worked for the Army Corp. of Engineers, Department of Environmental Quality, and many City Governments around Wyoming . We were the Construction Contractors for approximately six L.A.U.S.T. projects around the state of Wyoming . The largest of the projects was the Elk Street Mitigation in Rock Springs . We were on that project for one year, installing approximately five miles of piping in one mile of trenches, excavated in concrete, paving, and road base lots. This project included 13 sites, 11 buildings, and hookup of over 100 wells to the buildings. We worked with Nucor Drilling, and Inberg Miller Engineers, and the engineer for the project was Tri Hydro Engineers out of Laramie . Current Position Archer Constuction, Inc. is currently headquartered in Riverton , Wyoming . We have been working for Kennecott Energy doing remediation work for approximately 6 years, at 3 different sites. Our equipment list has grown to approximately 3 million dollars worth, including various sized excavators, loaders, dozers, haul trucks, water trucks, vac truck, backhoes, dump trucks, semi's with trailers to haul our equipment, belly dump, and other support equipment. We have grown to 17 full time, and 2 part time employees. All of our onsite employees have MSHA training, safety training, radiation training, drivers training, first aid training, and are always taking on site, job related training. We have had a perfect safety training record to date with MSHA, and put safety first and foremost in our company. We also are in compliance with BROWZ, which is a company that qualifies contactors according to their safety programs and safety records. Their guidelines are very stringent, and you must be very professional in your business to qualify. Archer Construction Inc. provides benefits to our employees.
