We are Northern Acoustical Systems Co., Inc. (NASCO) Not to be confused with the other guys. It is signatory to Carpenters Union Local #470. Our business was started back in 1974 by my father, Jess J. Poland (Pres.), in a small rambler in University Place. Our Garage was our warehouse and our kitchen table was his desk. Today we’re still a family run business with my brother, Tony (Super), and my son, Chris (Installer) and me, Steven (Estimator), along with the rest of the crew. Since then we’ve gone from small T. Is. and remodels to schools, supermarkets and office buildings to the tune of about $1M in sales per year. Don’t get me wrong, we still do the little stuff; keeping it simple. Our service area is usually South Puget Sound but we’ve been known to stray a little. (King, Kitsap, Pierce, Lewis and Mason Counties, among others).
