This is the cheapest rental car that comes up on Kayak.com flying into LAX. While this may be the truth, Al over at AMPM rentals truly cares about his customers to ensure a smooth trip. We rented an economy car for a 5-day business trip along the California coast. Upon return, we had a small dispute with the agent over the cleanliness of the vehicle and were disappointed to hear we'd be charged for detail work. Al overheard our dispute and contacted us directly to apologize and credit our account the extra costs as well as offered a full refund. We insisted we cared only about the extra charges being removed. Regardless, we were pleased to see he had discounted the rental anyway following our conversation. The people at AMPM are top notch and seek continuous improvement. You can't go wrong renting from them!
