Windy Isles Farms is a pony breeding farm and boarding operation in Peotone, Illinois, about 40 minutes south of Chicago. At our 100-acre farm, we specialize in breeding Connemara ponies. Our goal is to breed ponies that are true to traditional type with good strong bone, that are athletic and have the kind and gentle Connemara temperament. In addition to breeding, we offer top quality boarding at our facility. Some of the amenities include: insulated indoor riding arena with surround sound, heated and insulated tack rooms, indoor shower stalls, acres of pastures with many run-in sheds, six-arm horse walker, and an indoor bathroom. The pony breeding farm is owned by the Prendergast family has been breeding Connemara ponies in Ireland at their Cree Stud since 1961.
