He graduated in 1981 and practiced from 1981 to 1984 in Elgin. He opened his practice in Austin in 1984. He soon gained a reputation with area oral surgeons for doing incredible work when designing teeth after they had done surgery on patients. He is well known now for doing beautiful artistry when it comes to making new smiles when the teeth are broken, not shaped well, have gaps, very discolored, etc. He enjoys the artistry of this work alongside his regular dental practice of doing white fillings, crowns, root canals, exams after routine cleanings by the hygienists in the office, or treatment of gum disease with a soft tissue laser when needed.
