Mr. Smith also represents clients in civil litigation matters and appeals. He represents clients in a large variety of civil disputes including business and contract litigation, legal malpractice and commercial litigation. He handles both jury and bench trials. Further, Mr. Smith handles all types of domestic relations matters, such as divorce, legal separation, annulment, child custody and support, spousal maintenance (alimony), contempt, premarital contracts, property settlement agreements and modifications. A significant aspect of Mr. Smith’s practice is appellate litigation. He handles appeals in civil, family law and juvenile matters. In addition to traditional appeals, Mr. Smith has handled a number of special actions in the Arizona Court of Appeals, as well as Superior Court appeals.
