Dr. Heyen has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University and then from Baylor College of Dentistry with high academic honors. Following graduation, Dr. Heyen completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Langley AFB, Virginia. In 1998, Dr. Heyen moved his family to Wichita Falls and has since enjoyed helping his patients maintain their oral health. In 2001, Dr. Heyen became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.) in New York City. Dr. Heyen completed his Mastership Award in the Academy of General Dentistry in June of 2013 in Nashville, TN. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and less than 2% of all general dentists hold this distinction. He has also served as an Alternate Delegate in both the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and is a board member of the 13th District Dental Society.
