Stewart Warren is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey. He is a graduate of Rider College with a degree in accounting, and was admitted to practice in 1971, upon graduation from Rutgers Law School. Attorney Warren’s career began as a deputy attorney general at the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Office of the Attorney General. His assignments included service in the Organized Crime Unit, the Economic Crime Section, the Medicaid Fraud Section, the State Grand Jury Litigation Section, and the Labor Prosecutions Unit. After more than 20 years of service with the Division of Criminal Justice, deputy attorney general Warren transferred to the Division of Law where he served as a member of the A-901 Unit of the Environmental Enforcement Section. His primary area of responsibility was to work with a unit of state police detectives to conduct background investigations of applicants in the garbage and hazardous waste industries. He also litigated safe dam and air pollution cases on behalf of the state.
