My approach integrates several treatment modalities and theoretical perspectives, including psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, contemporary mindfulness-based therapies, life-span developmental approaches, attachment theory, family therapy, couples therapy, and play therapy. I have extensive experience working with clients ages two to 60+ on a wide range of issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, sexual and relationship issues, medical and health concerns, trauma and abuse, stress management, work and career issues, child behavioral and emotional issues, parenting and family issues, grief and loss, psychotic disorders. I like to work collaboratively, respectful of clients' self-knowledge, as well as what professional experience and training can offer.
