After more than 20 years of service with the Division of Criminal Justice, deputy attorney general Warren transferred to the Division of Law where he served as a member of the A-901 Unit of the Environmental Enforcement Section. His primary area of responsibility was to work with a unit of state police detectives to conduct background investigations of applicants in the garbage and hazardous waste industries. He also litigated safe dam and air pollution cases on behalf of the state.
