Welcome to Lee Institute of Skin & Laser! Dr. Francis C. Lee and his staff have been caring for the skin health and beauty of Central Illinois for over 30 years. Our focus is innovation, artistry, confidence and compassion. Francis C. Lee, MD – Founder and Medical Director Dr. Lee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology in Dermatopathology. He completed his dermatological residency at the University of Chicago and completed his straight medical internship at Northwestern University Medical Center. He also served as a flight surgeon in the Republic of Korea Air Force after completing medical school at the Seoul National University College of Medicine. Dr. Lee is a member of both the medical staff of St. Mary’s Hospital and Decatur Memorial Hospital. He has been a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology since 1971 and is also a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology. He is a frequently consulted guest of television and print media. He has also had a teaching relationship with Southern Illinois University for nearly two decades.
