Jaime S. Schwartz MD is Board Certified in plastic surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Schwartz attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz's work has appeared in several journals and educational textbooks, including the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Surgery of the Breast: Principles and Art, and Smith and Nesi's Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Recognized for his expertise in breast reconstruction surgery, Dr. Schwartz was one of 10 plastic surgeons in the country invited to develop national guidelines for techniques using tissue expanders and implants and autologous tissue for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Schwartz is committed to promoting advances in medicine, and serves on various American Society of Plastic Surgeons committees, including Health Policy, Patient Safety, Emerging Trends, Quality and Performance Measurement and the Clinical Trials Network.
