The Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal has everything you need and more in an airport. In addition to air service to every corner of the globe, the convenience of an airport that is centrally located in the heart of Illinois and easy to use, free parking and parking shuttle service, the CIRA terminal building's atmosphere puts you at ease as you travel. Located two miles east of Veteran's Parkway on Route 9 in Bloomington, CIRA features AirTran Airways, American Eagle, and Delta, five car rentals and several retail shops. We have free parking available, even overnight. In addition, conference rooms and a VIP lounge cater to our busy business travelers. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building. Airline Service: With daily flights to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth , Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul and beyond, at affordable rates, it's no wonder that the Central Illinois Regional Airport has become one of the hottest travel gateways in the Midwest. AirTran Airways flies nonstop to Orlando on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking: We also offer FREE PARKING for all of our passengers, even overnight! As you drive toward the terminal building on the entrance road you will see signage directing you to both long term and short term parking. Short term is two hours or less and is immediately in front of the terminal building. Long term (anything over two hours) is immediately behind the two hour parking lot. A complimentary parking shuttle is available to take you from the parking lot to the terminal and back again upon your return. Airlines: AirTran Airways, American Eagle, Delta, Allegiant and Frontier Airlines all provide service to the Central Illinois Regional Airport, located two miles east of Veteran's Parkway on Route 9 in Bloomington. Car Rental Agencies: We have five car rental agencies inside the terminal: Hertz, Avis, National, Budget and Alamo are all located in the baggage claim area of the terminal building. Gift shops, Food & Beverages: Jetstream Burger Bar is now open to the Bloomington-Normal public. Jetstream offers a full service lunch and dinner menu, along with your favorite beverages. Tailwind Gift Shop is open in the terminal building with travel necessities, accessories, Bloomington-Normal gift items and more. Tailwind Bistro is now open on the second level of the gate area, formerly the vending machine location. You can find hot sandwiches, breakfast items, coffee and a variety of beverages at this location past security.
