After School Program: Learning Taekwondo, completing their homework with supervision and assistance, utilizing our high-tech computer lab, enjoying afternoon snacks, and the game room. Our story began many years ago when, as employees of a Taekwondo school in Ashburn, our staff served many families and established strong relationships with the community. When we branched off on our own and opened our doors in November 2009, many of these wonderful families reunited with us in our new school, Phoenix Taekwondo. We are extremely grateful for the support these families gave us and are dedicated to imparting more than just knowledge of Taekwondo to our students, but also a sense of community and pride. Any Taekwondo school can have walls and mats. Special schools rise upon a foundation of their students and their families Philosophy At Phoenix, we firmly believe that character must be built along with physical strength. This cannot be accomplished by simply teaching students the techniques of Taekwondo. Masters must build bonds with students to help guide them in their quest for courtesy, loyalty, self-control, and a sense of responsibility to help and respect all forms of life. And, of course, we believe that in order to learn any of this, students must enjoy what they're doing and have fun! No contracts and no pressure. Rather than being locked into a financial contract, Phoenix students pay on a month-by-month basis right from the start. Quite simply put, we want students to stay at our school for one reason because they want to be here. Come on in and try it for yourself.
