"From Yoga 2 Barre (and everything wellness in between), let me help you get Fit. We have yoga for beginners so do not worry if you have never tried yoga. While the exercises are available in person and as a part of our online yoga, they are are great for everyone. I developed this concept, though, out of my desire to help other new moms (or not so new!) get back in shape through postnatal exercise. So, please feel free to contact me whether you’re a new mom or not even a mom at all. Our services will be beneficial to you no matter your life stage. As a mom, I. Totally. Get it. Pregnancy is a time of anticipation, excitement, and change. You fall in love with your growing bump. Then, your amazing little bundle arrives and you couldn’t be more overjoyed. I remember that moment. However, sometime in the first few days, weeks, or months after birth you look in the mirror and realize that your post-baby body isn’t what you expected. You wait, anticipating that postpartum appointment hoping that things will change by then. And, they do, but ever so slightly. Your midwife (or OB) clears you for exercise. But, that’s it, you’re on your own from here. Now what? I remember this moment too. You wonder, how do I get back to my pre-baby body?! Not only is it your fitness level that’s changed, but you feel like you’ve changed as a person. Not to mention…you have a whole other person to take care of now too! This is exactly why I developed the Y2B Fit virtual yoga, barre, and post-baby workout plans. I didn’t know where to turn for information on recovering my body. I knew it was different. I knew I was different. I also knew that I didn’t have the time or the energy to get myself out of the house for a 60 minute or 90-minute class. With driving time, that would almost be 2 hours. As a new mom, I know that time is sacred (and scarce). Our virtual studio workouts are set up to be 30 minutes in duration that you can complete online, anytime from the comfort of your home. You don’t have to worry about driving time, or babysitters, or if you’re breastfeeding how you’ll pump enough milk. If you do have a little more scheduling flexibility (and you live in the Philadelphia area), I’m also available to train you in person at your home or another designated location."
