The surgery suites and intensive care units are perhaps the most impressive. Surgery tables have hydraulic lifts and built in heating to keep surgical patients warm. The ICU has automated, sliding glass doors that serve a dial purpose. They protect patients and give them a quiet, comfortable place to recover and they also allow for close visual monitoring by doctors and nursing staff. In 2007, Veterinary Economics voted Atascocita Animal Hospital “Hospital of the Year”. We are AAHA accredited and are qualified for a backyard habitat designation by the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
