At Chelmsford Auto School, we offer a driver's education program that all individuals under 18 years of age must complete as required by the Massachusetts registry of motor vehicles prior to applying for a driver's license. In addition, all new drivers of any age are eligible for a 10% discount on auto insurance for 3 years by completing the following certified course: 30 hours of classroom instruction 12 hours of behind the wheel instruction 6 hours of observation 2 hours of a parent/guardian attending class. We also have a road lessons only class, also known as a "Commercial Lesson". Students can take road lessons independent of the driver education program. This is for the individual that is over 18 years of age and wants additional practice before a license test.
