We have roughly 109 total acres and the woodland development focuses on providing a natural residential environment with the necessary city amenities. Farrington Acres is owned and developed by Fred Brown and Janet Farrington Brown. Fred and Janet are both natives of Nebraska and have lived in Crete, NE, for more than 20 years. Fred served as president of Doane College for 18 years, retiring in 2005. The land surrounding Farrington Acres was purchased in 2006 to develop natural, environmentally friendly acreages for families in southeast Nebraska, especially in the Crete and Lincoln areas. Our goal is to preserve the woods, the prairie, and provide a safe habitat for local wildlife, while offering residents a private and scenic environment.
