Prior to opening, Dr. Yelinek provided house call services to the South Bay and Los Angeles communities for more than 20 years. Although we now have our own facility to call "home," we still recognize the necessity for home visits. For the comfort of our patients while staying at the Redondo Shores Veterinary Center, we have separate dog and cat patient wards. During the last days of one of her dogs, Dr. Peggy stayed with him even on the weekend before he passed to care for him and make him comfortable. And when grandma could no longer care for her last pup, Dr. Peggy kept him for her and adopted him out to a good home. There is not that many vets out there that would take the time to help an old lady find a loving home for their pet, but Dr. Peggy is special and cares about her patients.
