I have been practicing General Ophthalmology in Paragould for more than 30 years. My practice includes evaluation and treatment of all ages from birth to the very aged individual. The scope of the practice includes treatment of medical and surgical disease of the eye, including cataract surgery, eye muscle surgery, glaucoma treatment and surgery if needed. Laser surgery for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and after cataracts are a common part of my practice. Additionally, I perform eyelid surgery for tumors of the eyelid and often find myself in the emergency room to repair lacerations of the face. I am a graduate of Pepperdine College, now a university, in California. I was a graduate student in Biophysics before attending medical school at San Francisco Medical Center in San Francisco California. My internship and specialty training in Ophthalmolgy took place a Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Tx, following which I was Assistant Chief of Ophthalmology at Frankfurt, Germany 97th General Army Hospital. Upon returning to the United States, I was Chief of the Ophthalmology Department at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri Army Hospital.
