Steve and Megan White opened Whitey's Peetza & Eatery, Coral, PA in January 2010. The husband and wife team imagined the location to become a little destination spot for people wanting pizza, sandwiches, and beer. Over the past 2.5 years, Whitey's Peetza & Eatery has become the "hot spot" in the surrounding and local area that has recently completed a $350,000 expansion that added additional inside dining space as well as a state-of-the-art full-service bar called "Whiteys Tap Room." The White team has strategically grown the restaurant in stages since its inception by identifying needs that they saw in the community and competition. It continuously focuses on its mission that is quality food, quality service that a customer can feel and extreme cleanliness. The White's opened up and expanded in 2010 and 2011 three outdoor dining areas that focus on atmosphere by inviting acoustic musicians to entertain guests on Saturday nights as well as promoting an outdoor grill night for marinated Delmonico steaks, chicken breasts and tuna. The White's also acknowledged a huge need for the gluten-free community by providing them with a broad array of menu items from appetizers, pizza, salads, and sandwiches to desserts in their very own gluten-free menu. Along with Whitey's Tap Rooms 1,400 sq. ft. addition this spring 2012, the Whites also welcomed an executive chef, Garret Raviart, of Jeannette. "Chef G" has added delectable dishes that have been added to Whitey's everyday menu as well as weekend specials that focus on Seafood & Pasta. Along with continuously modifying their menu, patrons at Whitey's Peetza & Eatery can now get the same home-made pizza, sandwiches, and beer, but they also can get pan-fried trout and scallops and mixed drinks. Very community oriented, the White's support many organizations such as a school district's competitive baseball team and the local homeless shelter.
