Stephen R. Bick is an experienced civil litigator whose practice for the past 31 years has covered a broad range of practice areas including personal injury, creditor-debtor and estate planning. His personal injury work has included mediating settlements and taking cases to verdict at jury trials on behalf of seriously injured clients. In the creditor-debtor area, Steve represents lenders in loan structuring, work out plans, enforcement proceedings, and in bankruptcy matters. For debtors he has an active bankruptcy practice assisting families who are in need of debt relief or debt restructuring and files bankruptcy cases in Wisconsin and Minnesota bankruptcy courts. A significant amount of Steve's time is devoted to the estate planning area, especially for complex estate planning cases. He counsels clients on the proper use of trusts, Wills and other planning devices and regularly handles cases in probate court. Steve graduated from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1977 and previously graduated from Beloit College, Beloit, Wisconsin with a degree in economics. Steven J. Ledin joined the firm as an associate attorney in 1981. Steve, a native of Duluth, MN, attended Gustavus Adolphus College where he graduated Cum Laude with a BA in economics. He went on to graduate from William Mitchell College of Law. Immediately after law school he became an associate with the firm and has lived in Superior, Wisconsin since 1981 with his wife, Ada, and their three (3) children. Steve's experience includes successful jury verdicts throughout northern Wisconsin. Steve represents and advocates for the elderly and the rights of his injured clients. Although he has a general practice, the majority of his time is devoted to elder law, probate, real estate issues, corporate law and litigation.
