Hunterdon Healthcare has opened Hunterdon Sports and Physical Therapy, located at 222 Route 31 in Flemington, close to local athletic fields and nearby schools. Hunterdon Sports and Physical Therapy is one of the largest facilities in Hunterdon County to offer sports rehabilitation and physical therapy. The 6,000-square-foot facility features a large gym and plyometric area with an adjoining room dedicated to sports-specific activities and functional training. The Hunterdon Sports and Physical Therapy is also the first in this area to offer Sportsmetrics, an ACL prevention program scientifically proven to decrease serious knee ligament injuries, a rising problem in adolescent athletes. The facility will offer an evidence-based prevention program for the throwing athlete and injury prevention programs for various sports.
