OUR MISSION at The Splart Studio is to make great art while teaching kids (and adults) about famous artists in a fun and safe environment. We read stories about famous artists, learn about their techniques and show power point presentations of their incredible artwork. We even have artist themed birthday parties! With each project we make a connection to an artist that we use as inspiration. Making a connection to the artist who influenced their art projects give kids a sense of importance and meaning to what they are creating. When kids hear about artists like Andy Warhol who had 25 cats named Sam and that he had soup for lunch every single day, they feel a personal connection to the artist which makes learning so much more fun!
