The Black Forest has been in business in Auburn California since 1981. Paul & Sherry Gilbert moved here in the summer of '81' to raise their two sons in the best environment they could find. It's interesting how often we are taught that business isn't personal. For some people we suppose that's true. But when you are in business providing something other than a product (a service) it becomes very personal. Business is about people. A service succeeds when it makes significant numbers of people feel their lives are somehow better than they would have been without that service.
