Both sisters are originally from Tokyo, Japan, and they incorporate Japanese techniques with their 25+ years of experience working everywhere from Beverly Hills, CA to their current location in Alpharetta. Due to their longevity and expertise in the salon industry, both Chieko and Okko have built an expansive client base. From the moment they step foot into Salon i, clients soak in the peaceful and relaxing international atmosphere. Chieko and Okko firmly believe in offering the best customer service to every one of their valued clients. They work with each client on both a professional and personal level so that they can cater to the clients needs and personal style. Soothing head and shoulder massages are also available to help improve poor blood circulation, which is often the cause of hair loss. Preserving the health of the hair is very important to them, and for this reason they offer Eco Colors, a 99% organic hair color line. Aquage, Goldwell, Rusk, and Italy are other top of the line salon products offered at Salon i. Chieko and Okko are 2 of the most skilled hair technicians in the southeast, and offer an array of services ranging from hair color to waxing. They are also specially trained and skilled with the Liscio Japanese Hair Straightening (TR), a technique that was originated in Japan to permanently straighten curly, wavy, frizzy, and hard to manage hair. Keratin hair treatment and texture curls and waves are also offered to clients. Both sisters attend the California Hair Show every year to continually update their talents, products, ideas and techniques in order to provide their clients with the most current trends and hottest looks.
