The House of Beer, an award winning brand of neighborhood craft beer bars located in the Tampa Bay area, is happy to announce it is expanding to Gainesville, Florida this fall. Located at 19 West University Avenue, on the corner of SW 1st Street, the Gainesville House of Beer will be the third location to open since 2008. The Gainesville House of Beer is owned by Andy Polce, Michael Aguis, and Greg Stewart, three graduates of the University of Florida who are returning to Gainesville to join the growing local craft beer community, offering 40 taps of micro brews from around the nation, and select imports from around the world. “We are happy to reinvest in the city of Gainesville by providing our fellow Gators with a friendly, smoke-free environment to experience the wide variety of craft beers that may not have previously been available to the Gainesville market before,” said Polce, a long time home-brewer and craft beer expert.
