Middle keys location. Sea Bird Marina's location is the best in the Keys! Channel 5 bridge is one of the few bridges in the Keys that allows sailboats and large boats access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay. We are just 1 mile West of the Bridge at Mile Marker 69.5. Our location is a fishermen's dream spot. You can fish the back country and the ocean all in one day. Drive straight out of the marina to great Bay fishing spots like Sprigger Bank, or the Nine Mile Bank. In less them 5 miles, if you go to the ocean, you can fish the patch reef and Tennessee Light. 5 miles out you are past the reef and blue water for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo and kings. The bridges on both side of our island are great for bridge fishing. The varity of fish caught off the bridges is unbelievable. Also the bridges are great for Tarpon and sharks. We are closes to some of the popular snorkel and dive spots like my personal favorite, Alligator Light. Lobster season is unbelievable! It is fun and there are so many lobsters! Everyone has a great time diving them up. The best part is most of the lobster are in 5 feet of water so everyone can join in the fun. Sea Bird Marina is family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on our personal service. We have live aboard and transit slips. The dry storage for boats, trailers, trucks and RVs is gated and secure. The launch ramp and bait and tackle shop is open daily from 7 am to 5 pm (closed Tuesdays), Our boat rentals, & vacation rentals are perfect for fishing, diving or a fun day on the water.
