My name is Alfred (Al) Green I was born, reared and still reside in New Orleans. I wrote my first song in 2003 (“The Gunslinger”); however it was the year following Katrina (2006) when I really started to lend the time it takes to be successful in this industry. After working 42 years in the construction industry I retired in (2007). In a quest to find something to do with the rest of my life, I took on the challenge of songwriting as my new career.
