John came to our home to tune our antique piano. It's older, and is in need of some repairs. While we were willing to pay for repairs, John was unwilling to perform them. We were told that our piano was "a waste of time" and "not worth" his effort. After insulting our discretion, he literally ran out the door (well, as much as any decrepit old man can "run") without putting our piano back together.
